A praying Christian Community at the heart of our city

Healing on the Streets

Healing on the Streets takes place regularly outside the Prayer House and Holy Trinity. The Prayer House supports this ministry by offering hospitality, storage of resources, and of course, prayer.

Thank God for the team and for the many people who have experienced His healing touch through this ministry (see https://www.facebook.com/hotscoventry ).

Pray for those in the city who are suffering from physical, mental and emotional ill-health, that they may know God’s healing, wholeness and salvation in body, mind and spirit. Pray that the Healing on the Streets team will receive favour and be granted permission by the Coventry City Council to continue this vital ministry.

Coventry Healing On The Streets (HOTS) is an initiative of many different Coventry churches working together to demonstrate the love and compassion of God to the people of Coventry.  It has been running since the Spring of 2013 based on the gentle prayer model developed by Mark Marx based at the  Causeway Coast Vineyard in Northern Ireland ihttp://www.healingonthestreets.com/.

The public are invited to take a flyer explaining: “We believe that God loves you and can heal you no matter what your situation or physical condition, regardless of your background or beliefs.  We would love to pray for you without any charge (we are not able to accept donations). Just take a seat and we’ll pray for you!”

They encourage everyone to seek essential treatment for conditions for which medical advice should be sought. If they are on medication they should stay on it until a medical professional or counsellor has advised otherwise.
Coventry HOTS is a part of HOPE in Coventry and is supported by the following churches:
